The daring and indefinable Ms. Baker was a burlesque dancer, singer, actress, French resistance fighter and civil rights activist. Whether walking her cheetah down the streets of Paris, dancing in a bikini made only of bananas or adopting twelve multi-ethnic children, her so-called Rainbow Tribe, Josephine Baker made herself unforgettable in every time and place in which she found herself. Presenter Alex Judge is a Learning Facilitator at the Manitoba Museum. She has a Masters degree in history from the University of Toronto.
