Mindfulness Mindfulness is an approach to self-care that can assist in managing stress, worry and pain which teaches people to focus on the present. This presentation will be based on the work of Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn, medical professor and developer of the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts.
Presenters: Al and Ashley Kircher. Al is a psychologist and Ashley is a former nurse currently running Cognitive Behaviour Therapy sessions at Mood Disorders of Manitoba. Both have maintained a mindfulness practice for over 15 years.
