White Eagle anthe Red StarCentennial of the Polish-Soviet War of 1920

In the summer 1920, the Soviet armies stood at the threshold of Warsaw. The rest of Europe was in the turmoil of recovery from World War I. The fall of Poland could have led to the European continent becoming communist.  If not for some strategic blunders of the Soviets and the incredible bravery of the Polish army, history could have unfolded very differently.

This lecture explores the origins, consequences and significance of the Miracle on the Vistula.
